RC Servos
When you're running RC model cars there's no question that it's critically important to have the right tires, motor, suspension, etc., in order to have a winning vehicle. But it's also important to realize that none of this matters at all without the "RC" part of the equation, which stands for "Radio Controlled."
Our RC Radios and RC Servos category features a subcategory listing for everything needed for the "radio controlled" part of your racing system, including RC controllers, radio transmitters and receivers, radio frequency crystals, modules and a variety of other parts and accessories.
Servos are a big part of the link between car and driver, since the RC car servo is what controls the direction the car is turning. RC hobby servo units are fairly inexpensive to purchase and may be adequate for hobbyists not interested in racing their cars in competition. Serious drivers on the other hand are going to want to invest more in obtaining higher quality, higher torque, more responsive units to gain more of a driving edge. The old adage, "you get what you pay for," really applies when it comes to servos, and you'll find that the price range for these units we sell extends from a low of about $12 all the way up to almost $140. If you're serious, lean toward the higher quality!
